Duplicate Submission Checking

msTracker automatically runs both within- and cross-publication duplicate submission checks at the time of accessioning. (Some competitors offer only within-publication duplicate checking.)

If an active or published duplicate is detected, the system facilitates communication between the involved editorial offices.

With some systems, each journal runs on a separate code set and database. This antiquated practice makes set-up, development, support, customizations, and security cumbersome. It is also why they are unlikely to offer system-wide cross-publication duplicate submission checking anytime soon.
